This project reflects upon migration as a concept and a geo-political phenomenon. Looking at the sea as an entangled process of laws and jurisdictions to practice state border control, I turned my lens toward the shore of Dunkirk, now a critical point where growing numbers of people attempt the perilous crossing of the English Channel in hopes of reaching the UK. Working as a volunteer for a local NGO, I  investigated and documented this overlooked reality, convinced about the necessity to open up a dialogue on the current European politics of migration.
