Arianna Cavalensi (1989, IT) is a photographer and visual researcher. She is currently based in Studio Bell, The Hague (NL). Her research focuses on women’s stories, gender-politics, and community. In her practice the camera is a relational medium which enables her to engage in collaborations and to involve other people and communities in co-imagination strategies. During the image-production process, she strives to explore the representational space as a shared experience allowing reflexivity and participation. Within the artistic process, she is interested in delving into the liminal area between images and sound, poetics and politics.

Alongside my artistic practice, I am a freelance photographer and videographer. I specialize in event photography, portraiture, and art documentation. In addition, I work as a camera operator and assistant director in the arts and music industry.
